Throughout product development Capital Industrial Design utilise a number of 2D and 3D visualisation skills for fast and effective communication of design. These range from sketch drawing to full colour product renderings and 3D model making.

Scale models are extremely effective for product development because they provide visualisation of design in three dimensions, and enable 'real' hands-on exposure. This fast and informative method of communication strengthens product teams by encouraging discussion, evaluation and refinement of designs. Full-size mock-ups go a stage further and can be used to integrate mechanical and electrical elements, and check product use, ergonomics, assembly and maintenance. Models are an effective catalyst and provide a product vision before commitment to production. They can also be used for gaining customer feedback, and for sales and training purposes.
